Job Summary
Administer, proctor and score tests as required. Supervises site testing staff as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administer various assessment tests for the college on and off campus (THEA,
ASSET,COMPASS,GED,TOEFL,SAT, CLEP, ACT, TABE, CELSA, CITZENSHIP, ASE, CBE, CAAP, Correspondence Testing, Departmental Exams, etc.).
Assure that all staff is certified to administer Ability to Benefit tests.
Work with ADA counselors to provide appropriate testing
accommodations to students.
Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and termination of staff; input and approve time and labor data
for site testing staff.
If applicable, complete the Performance Evaluation Document (PEP) if supervising full-time staff.
Schedule testing proctors to ensure appropriate coverage.
Conduct inventory, at least annually, of test materials housed at the
Testing Center.
Monitor and maintain a system that will ensure security of tests and testing materials at the assigned sites; report
any lost, stolen, misplaced, damaged, or otherwise compromised test materials to the System Office.
Attend various meetings (i.e.,
district-wide monthly testing associate meetings, student development dean’s monthly manager meetings, campus operational team meetings,
etc.) and all training required by supervisor or college/district, state, or federal policy.
Adhere to departmental policies and
procedures in cooperation with the district office.
Participate in new student orientations (shared jointly with other student
services personnel), and conducts GED orientation.
Participate in campus activities, and initiatives.
Input test data.
Assist in evaluating and improving program services.
Prepare monthly testing calendars and generate monthly reports for submission
to System Office.
May work off-hours, including nights and weekends.
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as
required.

Working Conditions
General office. May frequently be required to walk; stand; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or
hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Use of personal computing equipment,
telephone, multi-functioning printer, photocopier, file cabinets, and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 25 pounds,
ability to reach and bend, and use 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training
sessions or other business-related events. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
