About this Position:
The purpose of the Digital Workplace Engineering Team Manager is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Digital Workplace Engineering Team in alignment with the business objectives of the Connected Digital Workplace Unit and the Customer Service & Enterprise Department. This individual will plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of the Digital Workplace Engineering Team, as well as provide administrative direction and support for the daily operational activities of the Digital Workplace Engineering Team. They will work closely with decision-makers across the organization to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions and/or services for all aspects of the organization. This person will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices as it relates to the services and applications supported by the Digital Workplace Engineering Team.
Responsibilities include:
* Work together with Unit Manager to provide input for the direction and vision of HNA IT, the Division, Department, and Unit. Contribute ideas and formulate the details on the execution of Division, Department, and Unit Strategy
* Build NA relationships and networks to achieve trust and credibility, by discovering and meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Use persuasion and influence to achieve maximum results with North America IT goals.
* Build and maintain a high performing IT team by fostering associate development and long-term capability by teaching, coaching, and mentoring, integrated with consistent and effective individual performance Management. Ensure the Team is motivated, engaged, and inspired to achieve goals and objectives.
* Achieve the project goals for the Digital Workplace Engineering Team as approved annually: including schedule, budget, and quality commitments
* Advance end-user computing tools and capability within the NA region, Align PC and Mobile strategies with other strategies within the region. (EG: security and risk, data loss, compliance, record retention, collaboration, etc.
* Technical leader in the area of end-user computing strategy and design

Required Work Experience:
* 8+ years of IT business work experience
* MCSE or MCP certifications or equivalate work background
Required Education:
* IS related bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
Desired skills:
* Professional writing skills
* Experience in management-level presentations
* Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, Windows 7/10, MAC OS iOS, Linux, VMWare VDI
* Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, PC management protocols/tools, and standards, including TCP/IP, WMI, SNMP Group Policy, and LDAP.
* Extensive application support experience with AirWatch, Group Policy, Active Directory Administration, SCCM, PowerShell, Microsoft Azure, and Azure AD.
* Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
* Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
* In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
* Understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
* Understanding of project management principles.
* Technical leadership skills
