Position Purpose:
The Print Room Supervisor manages a team responsible for all functions related to printing and distribution of payroll and SAP checks, W-2 reprints, Leave of Absence Paperwork, and select reports for all Home Depot Companies, in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Guam. The team is also responsible for managing all physical and digital mail for HR Operations, Garnishments, Subpoenas, and Tax. Additionally, this position will support the reporting and ordering of our Pay Cards, managing print room inventory, and working and distributing Salesforce cases.
The Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coaching, and guiding associates, coordinating equipment maintenance with vendors, establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring service levels are maintained, working with Managers to achieve operation goals, using Print Room hardware and software, leading team meetings, and communicating policy and procedural changes. They must have excellent communication skills, be proficient in software tools and equipment, monitor KPIs, lead team meetings, and ensure team members are informed of changes. Supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
30% – Customer Support Operations & Business Partnership – Ensures the performance goals of their team are met including quality control levels as well as adherence to all policies and procedures. Proactively pursue opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Work with vendors to monitor packages and resolve distribution issues ensuring impacted locations, HR Service Center, and business partners are kept up to date on resolution. Assures system performance issues are escalated to the vendor to ensure timely resolution. Manages physical and digital mail, inputs vendor payments into Ariba completes and distributes Salesforce cases, and handles ADP garnishment invoices.
70% – Leadership & Development – Manages performance (evaluations, corrective action, feedback, coaching, development, etc.) efficiently and effectively. Supervises daily operations, staff, audits, onboarding new associates, and training. Coaches team members and handles customer service requests.
