Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Athletics and Chief Operating Officer, the Head Field Hockey Coach is responsible for management and administration of all phases of the intercollegiate sports program. The Head Field Hockey Coach is responsible for the skill instruction and player development of all student-athletes, the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes and the overall success of the sport program. The Head Coach is recognized as pivotal to, and responsible for, the record of the program as it relates to competitive scheduling, university/community relations and the enhancement of the student-athlete.Responsible for knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. If found responsible for a violation of NCAA regulations, will be subject to disciplinary or corrective action, including termination if appropriate. Also, may be responsible for any act or omission that may give rise to a finding that the University has violated an NCAA regulation.
