Description:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Public Safety and Community Engagement, the Director of Public Safety for Operations helps to ensure the safety of the diverse campus community and its visitors through effective leadership, by fostering and maintaining positive internal and external relationships, and through education and training of the campus community and Public Safety staff. The Director of Public Safety for Operations will also serve as the Associate Vice President of Public Safety and Community Engagement in their absence. This position requires working evenings, weekends and special events depending on the needs of the department and Hofstra University.
