Description:
Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admission, the Admission Counselor is responsible for all aspects of admission recruiting to include delivering on-campus and off-campus admissions programs, reviewing freshman applications for undergraduate admission and networking, and building relationships between high school counselors, prospective students, and parents. This entry-level position is designed to give candidates an introduction to careers in Higher Education. Candidates must be willing and able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA. Evening and weekend hours may be required in support of special projects and events.
