Position Overview:
The Cohort Learning Communities (CLC) Program Coordinator will work under the general supervision of the CLC Program Director. As the Program Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the CLC Programs. This includes monitoring budgets, providing program information and advice, promoting the program, attending meetings and conferences, collaborating with off-campus organizations, and ensuring program goals are met. The Program Coordinator will also be involved in administrative tasks, such as preparing reports for grants and proposals, utilizing software for data management, performing complex scheduling, and leading a team of student staff. Additionally, they may be required to make public presentations related to the program’s specialty.
This position is a classified full-time position, which is eligible for overtime.
Salary Information: The above salary reflects the starting step (Step C) Range 40 and ending step (Step M) salary for this classified position and includes a 5% King County compensation provision. As a newly employed classified employee, based on annual increments, it will take 5 years to reach Step L on the salary schedule, 11. years to reach step M on the salary schedule. This does not reflect any contractual changes, legislative mandated salary increases or Cost of Living Increases (COLA’s) that may be approved in the future.
