The Associate Director of Admissions provides leadership, management, and responsive innovation for college admissions and the creation and maintenance of student records. The Associate Director leads efforts to ensure students receive a seamless application and entry experience. This includes working closely with key campus partners as a lead to implement the Guided Pathways framework, ensuring students are connected with accurate and timely information and support in their next steps of the enrollment process. Duties include leadership and supervision of staff and student employees in the Admissions and Information/Welcome desk team, and participation in the leadership team for Enrollment Services. The Associate Director will provide back-up for the Director of Enrollment Services, and the Associate Director of Enrollment and Credentials. This position also serves on the leadership team, working closely with Advising, Running Start, Veterans Services, and Enrollment Services.
Admissions, a unit within Enrollment Services, is responsible for facilitating general admissions, selective admissions for Registered Nursing, residency for tuition purposes, maintenance of student records, and collaborating with Advising to offer new student orientations. The unit provides customer service through the Information Desk, virtual lobbies, via email and phone as the primary point of contact for general information and admissions. The person in this position is expected to participate fully as a member of the Enrollment Services team, supporting other functional areas to facilitate admissions and related enrollment services as needed.
This is an exempt, at-will, full-time position. The Associate Director must be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings.
