Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Patient Relations Specialist About us Heart Vascular & Leg Center is a specialty clinic for cardiovascular care.
We have 1 cardiologists, 2 interventional radiologists, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and a Physician Assistant.
Summary of Responsibilities A member of Heart Vascular & Leg Center who under the direct supervision of the office manager.
Directs patients as needed thoroughout the facility.
Answer patient inquiries and assist patient with the completion of patient check in if neded.
Assures that customers and vendors are treated in a polite, satisfactory manner.
The team member must be proficient in using the phone and computer systems, registration, scheduling systems, triage and transfer calls, as well as taking messages and transferring them correctly.
They are a problem solver and carry themself confidently.
This is a full-time position.
Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent, and has completed all of the following criteria:
Background in Hospitality Fluently Bilingual (Spanish) Adaptable and accountable History of great attendance Skills and Competencies The ability to educate patients and provide instruction.
Excellent communication skills.
Listening and speaking skills.
Interpersonal skills:
able to understand non-verbal cues.
Computer skills:
internet, Microsoft Office programs Responding efficiently and accurately to patients, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that they feel supported and valued.
Engaging in active listening with patients, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry clients, as needed.
Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
Understanding and striving to meet or exceed appointment show rate metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.
Thoroughly explaining services based on patient or other medical office inquiries.
Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position.
Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
