Job Summary
The Faculty Affairs Coordinator is responsible for providing centralized support and services related to all functions under the umbrella of faculty affairs. The incumbent focuses on the coordination and execution of academic recruitment, job postings and searches, appointments, reappointments, promotions, faculty development programs, and enhancing relevant processes and procedures. They provide high-level administrative support to the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and serve as a back-up for faculty-related human resources functions as necessary.

2. Ability to work well independently with minimal direction and as part of a team
3. Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities simultaneously, often with competing deadlines
4. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Zoom, and Adobe
5. Strong organizational skills; detail oriented
6. Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
7. Experience in developing new program procedures and processes in the absence of prior precedent
8. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and perform duties with tact, discretion, and good judgment
9. Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferred
10. Experience in higher education, preferred
11. Experience with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) employment authorization processes and procedures or ability to learn, preferred
Working Conditions

Compensation Range (hourly rate): Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally new hires can expect compensation between the minimum and midpoint of the range. For grades 047-056, the ranges reflect a 35-hour workweek.
Minimum $35.20
Midpoint $45.60
Maximum $56.00
Work Format Details
This is a hybrid position that is based in Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
