Hardware Technician Hiring for Hardware Technician Job at Milpitas, CA Full Time

Our client is looking to fill a hardware technician to join their team. This is a very hands-on role working closely with the engineering team. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely testing of consumer products, reporting data, and writing technical reports.

Scope:

• Evaluate products submitted for testing for quality / safety issues, with direction from senior staff
• Prepares a variety of samples for testing using prescribed testing methods, following testing standards / specifications
• Conducts testing or analyzes a variety of consumer products for basic bench analysis and limited analytical instrumentation using prescribed testing methods, following testing standards / specifications appropriate to the sample
• Use and verify (if applicable) test equipment and instruments, and maintain record keeping system for calibration / quality system integrity
• Maintain test equipment, supplies, lab cleanliness

Requirement

• 1-2+ years of Technician experience. EMC/RF is a plus.
• Test & troubleshooting experience with machineries (could be automobile, manufacturing environment)
• Basic computer skills: Windows, Word & Excel
• Independently evaluate test results data
