Objective: To assist the HR and Accounting departments where needed.
Responsibilities:
Personnel/Human Resources:
- Recommend and coordinate human resource and personnel procedures.
- Recruiting
- Hiring Procedures
- Employee Orientation, Training, Review, and Documentation.
- Maintain employee records including job description, employment, and termination records.
- Terminating Procedures
- Time & Attendance
- Administer employee benefits.
- Health Insurance
- Life Insurance
- 401K
- Vacation
- Schedule and coordinate all Health and 401k meetings
- Knowledgeable of Health and 401k plans to answer employee questions
- Prepare and file reports of accidents and injuries
- Worker’s Compensation reporting.
Accounting:
- Accounts Receivable
- Collections, Credit Checks, Deposits Entry in the computer, Advance Deposit Billing, and weekly follow-up for payments
- Customer Information Requests
- W-9s and Insurance Certificates
General Office Quality Procedures:
Work by all Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms.
Education & Experience Required:
- Minimum: Associate or bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum: 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Computer skills: Excel, MS Word, and ERP system. Paylocity is a plus.
- Self-Starter
