JOB DESCRIPTION:
Interact with new or existing customers over the phone and document information in the computer for customer service billing and equipment/ service requirements.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fill out forms, determine charges for service requested, collect deposits, prepare change of address records and issue stop service orders.
Interact with customers and Gresham Sanitary employees to determine service requirements and resolve problems or complaints in a courteous manner.
Work in a fast paced, cooperative environment with high attention to detail, while interacting with customers over the phone.
Prorate customers accounts based on account service changes.
Assist in other areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
Pass pre-employment drug screen, background check as well as random drug screening.
2 years of Customer service or call center experience preferred.
Fast and accurate typing, in addition to 10-key skills are required.
Ability to analyze and solve problems. Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Create payment batches and accurately apply payments to customer accounts.
