Job Descriptions:

Duration: 12 months

Shift: M-F, Regular business hours

• Act as a team member of the Quality Control department to support technology transfer, validation, and/or investigation projects.
• Executes method transfers, validations and evaluations per QC Scientist or Managers’ instructions and supervision.
• As needed, perform the routine analysis (analytical or microbial) of drug substance, in-process, and raw material samples.

Job Description

• Drafts and executes method transfers, method evaluations (verifications) and method validations.
• Performs routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and bulk drug substance samples
• Leads and participates in the qualification and validation of electronic equipment
• Independently drives projects to on-time completion.
• Contributes to the on-time closure of Laboratory Investigations, CAPAs, Change Controls, and Deviations
• Creates, revises, and reviews quality GMP documents, i.e., local SOPs and assay worksheets
• performs laboratory investigations and deviations as needed.
• Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations as required
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor or Associates Degree. Preferred area of study in Microbiology, Biochemistry or Related Science Fields.
• 3-5+ years industry experience, preferably in a cGMP environment.
• Experience in protein analysis techniques such as ELISA, qPCR, CE-SDS, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Isoelectric focusing (IEF), chromatography.
• Use of Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Use Laboratory computer systems
• Experience with GMP Quality Systems such as: TrackWise, LIMS
• Ability to communicate in both written and verbal format.
• Excellent ability to interpret data.
• Perform assigned, complex and/or varied tasks.
• Prioritization and problem solving.
• Direct, control and plan tasks/projects.
• Relate to others in a team setting.
• Maintain positive attitude in a team environment.
• Timeliness in completing assigned tasks.
• Works entire assigned shift, including arriving and departure on time.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $34.12 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hayward, CA 94545: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CNA (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Medical Technologist (Preferred)
