ABOUT THE ROLE:
The first duty of the Receptionist is to provide superior customer service to residents, telephone callers, visitors, vendors, and employees. The Receptionist must be able to respond to emergency situations and to maintain security procedures and confidentiality. The Receptionist also performs a wide variety of administrative tasks including accounts payable duties.
Position Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Manage a busy telephone system by answering questions and transferring calls.
Greet and direct visitors, prospective residents, vendors, family members, and employees.
Manage the resident medical and on-demand transportation schedule.
Reconcile accounts payable vendor statements, adhering to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) of recording and reporting accounting information.
Prepare daily bank deposits and prepare petty cash fund.
Create the quarterly resident directory.

Have graduated high school or obtained an equivalent GED.
Can communicate effectively, efficiently, and in a courteous manner with all members of our community.
Are familiar with Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
Worked in an office setting for one year previously [preferred].
