The Assistant Director-Office of Title IX and Institutional Equity & Deputy Title IX Coordinator reports to the Director of the
Office of Title IX and Institutional Equity & Title IX coordinator. The Assistant Director/Deputy assists in resolving complaints of
sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, gender-related violence including stalking and intimate partner violence, and protected class
discrimination and harassment involving employees and students at Grand Valley. The incumbent will work closely with university policies and
federal and state law and regulations to provide response to parties involved in a complaint. The Assistant Director/Deputy has primary
responsibilities for the case management system, reporting, and coordination of training for Responsible Employees. In the absence of the
Title IX Coordinator, the Assistant Director/Deputy Title IX Coordinator will assume all responsibility for compliance relative to Title
IX.
