What You Will Work On
A career as an IT Support Engineer will involve being responsible for providing technical support to approximately 500 computer users throughout the company via phone, email, and other technical support methods. A core part of your role will be providing on-site technical support to our teams on the jobsite. You’ll provide training, tools, and tips to IT customers as necessary while owning and overseeing tasks until they are resolved.
Being an IT Support Engineer at Goodfellow Bros. means working with both office and field teams. Your day will involve procuring, installing/configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals. You’ll setup, and install IT equipment, including network and voice services, routers, switches, printers, etc., and assist with jobsite mobilization and demobilization.
What You Need
We want you to be successful! Having a minimum of 3 years of technical support experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals along with Microsoft Windows 10 platform, Microsoft Office products (Office 2016 minimum) and Zoom troubleshooting are required to make sure your start here with us is a smooth transition.
Having experience in the construction industry, along with a positive attitude and customer focused mentality will give you an edge on the competition.
