Summary
Heartland’s Governance, Risk and Compliance teams are looking for a promising entrepreneur to join our strong team for Summer 2024! As an intern for the Governance, Risk and Compliance teams, you will work in a high paced, team oriented environment. The work will surround various tasks relating to researching and analyzing payroll and tax compliance topics, participating in process improvement projects, investigating privacy incidents, and assessing credit/risk profiles of Heartland customers.
Your contributions will impact our organization and your feedback and ideas will be welcome.
What will you be doing?
Support team projects
Analyze and reconcile records
Data input and validation
Conduct research and resolution to payroll tax related matters
Provide excellence in client service both internal and external
What are the requirements?
Rising Sophomore to Graduate Student currently enrolled in a college or university
Detail oriented
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to switch between tasks efficiently
Ability to think critically about processes
Excellent verbal and written communications
Willingness to learn new skills
Familiarity with Google programs and email
