JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client’s Human Resources department and oversee our full-cycle recruiting. The Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter’s responsibilities include: sourcing candidates in mental / behavioral health (professionals, field community workers and leaders) through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures, and hosting or participating in training and orientation events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.

Furthermore, you must first understand the requirements for each role in the organization. You should also keep up with industry trends and ensure that all documentation is accurate so it can’t interfere with any future hiring decisions. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for all current and future hiring needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
• Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
• Determine selection criteria.
• Develop and manage our internal referral program.
• Source potential candidates through online channels like: Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor, LinkedIn.
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System on ADP workforce now.
• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
• Lead employer branding initiatives.
• Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications.
• Using standardized screening techniques, assess the skills, qualifications, and experience of potential candidates.
• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
• Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

• Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
• Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally
• Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
• Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any questions a potential hire may have
• Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred
• Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies
• Experience working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in hiring all races, genders, and ages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
• BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field Preferred*

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

• This job varies from a professional office environment 5 days per week, with occasional field work for recruiting events. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
• Position does involve local travel on an occasional basis. The employee is primarily seated while performing the duties of the position.
