The Learning and Development team offers employees the opportunity to access courses to expand their knowledge and track professional development. The Training Coordinator provides support and administration for the Learning Management System (LMS), Garver U courses, and employees. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent. This is a temporary, full- time position with no guarantee to turn permanent.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and its users
Maintain the Learning & Development and Garver U Inboxes
Create courses, enter events/sessions, upload content, and ensure participant’s attendance status is complete within 48 hours
Set up and send course announcements and notifications
Provide customer support to all internal LMS users as needed for functional issues
Follow up with employees on unfinished Learning Plans
Communicate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who create course content and requesting course be added to LMS
Troubleshoot learning management system problems, identify issues, and recommend solutions
Run reports, streamline report functionality, create Excel reports as needed
Maintain training schedules and calendars
Manage learning catalogs for different business lines or departments
Coordinate logistics for onsite workshops (travel, meals, hotels, set up)
Assist with new hire virtual orientation
Skills:
Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders
Proven competency with computer software
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and take action
Basic Microsoft Office Suite
Intermediate Excel
Education: Prefer an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, experience in Training & Development, Human Resources, Information Systems or other related field, minimum of 1 year of experience with LMS management
