Gainesville Neon & Signs is looking for a team member to fill a position in the front office. This is a full time position with a regular schedule (Monday through Friday) and weekends off!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our team.
• Front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with customers, sales, project managers.
• Responsible for generating bills and collect all revenue owed to Gainesville Neon in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Accrue use and sales tax.
• Perform general office duties including preparing office correspondence and memos as needed, ordering and maintaining office supplies, cleaning and organizing office area, coordinating office and office equipment maintenance as needed.
• Ensure business documents are retained as per policy
• Scan and file closed accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in Quick Books (At least 2 years experience)
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable/Collection Specialist or similar role
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• At least 2 years of previous accounts receivable experience demonstration solving problems to resolution.
• At least 5 years of experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Programs.
• Five years of related office or bookkeeping experience.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
• Capable of working responsibly with confidential information.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
