Newly created position for a rapidly growing oilfield service company. While this position may wear multiple hats (HR/Payroll/Benefits) while the team is built out, you’ll have an opportunity to put your own stamp on process, strategies, and systems. Looking for an experienced leader that is comfortable interacting with a full range of employees, from executives to field personnel.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and terminating
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
Design and implement employee retention strategies
Requirements and Skills
Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Benefits Administration
Payroll Processing Experience
Degree in Human Resources or related field
Energy/Oilfield Services experience preferred
Netchex experience a plus
The HR Manager position is a full-time, exempt position.
Compensation commensurate with experience and relevant skillset.
