The Sales Enablement Training and Communications Specialist leads and drives all Independent Distributor Franchisees (“Franchisees”) communications efforts as well as keeping the sales team informed. He/she will play a vital role in ensuring that the flow of information and content to IDP Franchisees is appropriate, efficient, and effective in all aspects. This position will assist Sales Enablement and its partners in developing content for the IDP portal, training, and general workshops. Additionally, the training and communications specialist works closely with Sales Enablement, Information Technology, IDP Franchisees, and sales to rework/redesign the distributor portal. The Training and Communications Specialist will gain broad exposure into how the company interacts with its IDPs and will provide insight into how communications processes can be improved to best serve the partnership. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining educational journeys supporting the Company’s new and current Independent Distributor Franchisees (“Franchisees”) with operational knowledge needed to support Franchisees with the ordering, distribution, sales, transportation, handling, and merchandising of products to ensure timely consumer and retail access to fresh, quality product (also known as “Brand Standards”). Occasionally, the Sales Enablement Training and Communications Specialist will create learning materials for various DSD Sales teams providing guidance on best practices for supporting Franchisees. Position requires constant interaction with work group and other departments. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on IDPs. This position will also assist the National Accounts team with any service ticketing platforms such as Dollar General’s DG Connect.
