College of Education Office of Research
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with the implementation of all phases of the review; providing support in the collection, summary and analysis of qualitative and descriptive quantitative data related to educational and occupational topic areas; helping manage projects and coordinate meetings with internal and external education, state agency and industry stakeholders; and contributing to the development of a framework that aligns quality CTE programs with state, regional, or local high-skilled high-wage or in-demand industry sectors.
Assist in the verification and analysis of education and student-level data reports. It may also involve engaging basic quantitative and qualitative research analysis, providing support to the statewide director of workforce education.
Perform descriptive quantitative and qualitative analyses of data and generate reports. The position may also have policy research responsibilities, assisting the division in the development of policy. Develop ad present presentations for stakeholders.
Conduct and write literature reviews, annotated bibliographies, and summaries of relevant literature. Review Labor Market Information and provide reports on labor market supply and demand. Performs other duties as required.
Other duties as assigned, including the organization of reports, date, tiles on behalf of the office of CTE Quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)
