Responsibilities
•Conduct presentations to various audiences across campus including in classrooms and during Orientation.
•Represent International Programs during tabling and other department marketing events.
•Serve in an administrative role at the front desk of the office. Employees are responsible for answering phone calls, assisting students and families as they visit the office and more.
•Serve an administrative role in the Passport Office. Employees are responsible for answering phone calls, ensuring that guests have all the necessary materials for their passport process, and assisting the passport team as appropriate.
•Participate in digital marketing efforts, including taking photos, and videos, making social media appearances, and more.
•Other tasks may require the use of a golf cart, lifting and moving boxes of printed materials and other marketing materials, significant time spent outside, etc.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have participated in a program or internship with FSU International Programs.
Must be a current FSU student, preferably able to commit to working through at least Summer 2024.
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Other Information
Florida State University students who have participated in a study abroad or internship program with International Programs have the opportunity to apply to be an IP Ambassador. This paid, part-time position allows students to enhance their skills in marketing and public speaking, while sharing their experience abroad with fellow students. They serve as representatives of International Programs within the FSU and Tallahassee communities. The primary duties of an IP Ambassador include conducting presentations, assisting with department events, and serving in administrative roles in the office. The Ambassadors are provided with presentation and office training and have the opportunity to create flexible work schedules around their classes.

This is an OPS/temporary job.
Must be to work at least 12-15 hours a week – Actual hours worked per week may be more or less than stated amount depending on student’s availability and/or the amount of department events in a given week.
