Responsibilities
This position is responsible for planning, administering, reviewing, and evaluating all activities related to the Fine Arts Ticket Office providing service to and facilitating projects for the university. Efficiently operate the Fine Arts Ticket Office (FATO). Serve as a consultant to campus user groups and outside constituents maximizing the benefit of a computer-based ticketing system. Hire, train and supervise all FATO sales staff, house managers and ushers. Coordinate front of house and ticketing during performances. Develop ongoing procedures for processing ticket orders and managing data to meet the needs of the various user groups. Issue timely and accurate reports of sales and attendance data. Ensure timely event settlements and financial transfers. Assist in developing fund-raising and marketing timetables that are integrated with ticket sales operations. Develop, administer and monitor a yearly budget for operating the FATO and services provided to user groups. Provide policy guidance regarding ticket office operations for the point-of-sale outlets on and off campus.
Monitor and ensure compliance with industry and FSU PCI standards. Continually evaluate sales system and develop strategies for improved productivity as computer and network systems evolve. Present FATO information in weekly meetings and assist in the administration of the MFA program in Theatre Management. Collaborate with vendors, consultants, programmers, and technical support personnel in selecting, purchasing, operating, maintaining and upgrading the computerized point-of-sale ticketing system for the university. Maintain memberships in relevant professional organizations to enhance ticket system operations.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and four years’ experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
Ability to self-start, work well with others, and meet deadlines.
Ability to track data and produce reports.
Ability to multitask and work effectively during high volume periods.
Ability to operate a computer and learn new programs when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with ticketing software preferred.
Management experience preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range
Anticipate hiring in the high $40,000’s range up to mid-$50,000’s range based on experience.
