Coburn Health and Wellness Center, a 170,000 square-foot multipurpose facility built in 2012. The Health and Wellness Center includes classrooms, a nursing triage clinic, a priority clinic, a fitness center, and a healing garden for personal reflection.
Responsibilities
Serves as P-card Proxy for multiple UHS Staff: provides guidance on allowable purchases, timely performs weekly P-Card entry, and monthly P-Card reconciliations submission to Procurement Services. Maintains filing system of paid and unpaid Pcard charges by card holder. Maintains purchasing card reconciliation log in excel.
Supports contract management processes within UHS: compiles required
documents, adds new contracts to the Spearmart Contract Module and secures required approvals timely. Monitors expiration of contracts and assists UHS Contract Manager with contract renewal. Files all contract related documents and maintains contract tracking records.
Reconciles eCW, Tallahassee Memorial, Quest and Radiology invoices/statements for accuracy, and works with vendors and UHS staff to confirm invoices to be paid. Performs weekly audit of open balances, prepares and posts adjustments and/or payments. Contacts customers to resolve open balance issues, adjusting, and requesting student account correction as needed.
Supports UHS travel representative, purchasing agent and billing customer service roles as assigned, including and not limited to, initiates travel requests and reimbursements in FSU travel management system, creates requisitions and receipts in FSU procurement system, answers insurance billing related inquiries.
Attends UHS Business office meetings as scheduled. Serves on committees as assigned and participates in UHS quality improvement programs or business office projects. Stays abreast of all University policies and procedures related to the role.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency and two years appropriate experience.
(Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.)
Ability to maintain accurate records and retrieve files from active or archive sources. Basic filing practices to include numeric and alphabetic systems.
Knowledge of accounting systems and practices.
Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision.
Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.
Position requires pre-employment PPD (TB) and successful completion of post hire OSHA training.

Anticipated Salary Range
