University’s Office of Parking and Transportation is pleased to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the Program Assistant
vacancy.
Responsibilities
Collects and
secures payments received in the Parking Services office; Safeguards and maintains an established change fund used in daily operations;
Reconciles actual daily collection; Prepares daily cash report for transaction by tender, the operating change fund amount, and amount of
deposit total; Adjucates appeals at Level One to determine if there is a need for further scheduling of a hearing at Level Two before a
review board; and inputs daily appeal data consisting of citation information, owner information, daily level one appeal results, and the
payment deadline.
Enters appeal results into T2 and generates appeal results to appellant Assists the department with
filing of all documents relative to research, citations, appeals, and vehicle registration; Offers information on citations issued, venom
routes, and directions to various locations on campus and answers telephone inquiries and written information requests for parking and
transportation; and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalency and four years of related experience; or a combination
of post high school education and experience equal to four years.

Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related
federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations;

organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously;
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply
related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices; and

Pay Plan
This is an
USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.

Employment
Successful candidate is subject to a pre-employment screening which includes a review of

Section 110.1128, Florida Statutes, prohibits employment by the State (including re-hire after a break in
service) of any male born after October 1, 1962, who failed to register with the Selective Service System, under the provisions of the U.S.
Military Selective Service Act, during the person’s period of eligibility (ages 18 through 25). Additionally, if currently employed by the
State, this law prohibits the promotion of such person. You may be required to provide
