Fisheries Supply Company is seeking an experienced candidate for our Accounts Payable Department. Position is full-time, on site Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• High volume posting and processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
• Reconciling billing to inventory receipts, and working with internal departments and vendors to assist in resolving discrepancies
• Daily check runs and electronic payments
• Preparing vendor checks for mailing
• Maintaining current balances with our vendors, reviewing vendor statements
• Filing of paid vendor payment vouchers and receiving documents
• Answering incoming phone calls to the Accounting Department
• Purchasing office/janitorial supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• 2 years+ accounts payable experience including invoice reconciliation to inventory receipts using integrated business ERP software.
• Data entry skills with a knack for numbers
• High degree of integrity and discretion
• Detail oriented and focused for accuracy
• Basic proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Must be proficient in English with strong communication skills
• High School Diploma/GED required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
