POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Administrator is responsible for assisting and supporting the Payroll and HR departments with data entry, file management and garnishments.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Distribute, collect, review and manage a wide variety of staff documents; maintain current and accurate paper and electronic files
• Initiate and perform HR-related document audits
• Maintain confidentiality of records associated with FCS personnel
• Assist orientation sessions by managing and filing paperwork
• Provide administrative support to the HR department
• Assist employees with HR related questions and concerns
• Provide necessary administrative support to other departments as needed
• Complete employment verifications as needed
• Recommends new polices and procedures
• Interpret HR and Payroll business policy and procedure to provide guidance as required
• Answer questions regarding employment history, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information
• Processes court ordered wage garnishment, including child support, student loans, wage assignments, bankruptcy orders, state and federal tax levies
• Collect and maintains electronic files for all withholding orders
• Enter wage garnishment orders in payroll system accurately and in a timely manner
• Enters deductions on employee master files
• Sets up garnishment vendors appropriately
• Ensures all garnishments payments are accurate and in compliance with all laws and withholding orders
• Researches and responds to inquires from employees, courts, state and federal agencies and others regarding garnishment orders
• Assists with internal and external audits
