Description of primary duties and responsibilities::

Description of Work Continued::

Primary Purpose of the Position:
The School of Nursing seeks a committed, scholar and nursing educator, capable of contributing to the continued expansion of the RN-BSN degree program and a four-year generic licensure program. The candidate must be able and willing to teach across curricula.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements::

Applicants for the Lecturer Position must also be eligible for licensure as an RN in North Carolina, with an MSN from an accredited institution, extensive nursing teaching and/or clinical experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing.

Knowledge skills and abilities::

Teaching and instruction for groups of individuals; ability to communicate
effectively, orally and in writing with peers and students; ability to work
effectively and productively with others; time management skills, and ability to
work with minimal supervision.
