Family Reach is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to removing the financial barriers standing between a cancer patient and their treatment. We deliver financial education, financial coaching, resource navigation, and emergency relief funds to patients and caregivers facing a cancer diagnosis, so no family has to choose between their health and their home. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT Operations Coordinator will work with the IT Operations team to support management of the organization’s systems and processes on all platforms.
Working cross-departmentally and reporting to Senior Salesforce Administrator & IT Manager, this person will plat a vital role in helping the organization function smoothly and efficiently, enabling us to reach tens of thousands of families each year. This position will also serve as the “Help desk” for our staff, helping to resolve and escalate technical issues to the appropriate team member.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help Desk
- IT “help desk” for Family Reach staff in a remote setting
- IT admin for many technology solutions, working on IT tickets related to remote office systems and administrative processes specific to MS office, IT, computers, phones, and file management
- Help identify the technological needs of the team by reviewing existing systems or processes in collaboration with Senior Manager of People Operations & Culture to ensure new solutions align with company culture
- Coordinate IT needs for quarterly in-person meetings, or as needed
IT Support
- Support planning, implementation, and testing for all technology solutions including installing updates for existing applications
- Support the ongoing security strategy and trainings in collaboration with the Senior Salesforce Administrator and the Vice President of Information Technology
- Translate technical jargon to Family Reach staff, including sharing org-wide announcements as needed
- Support relationships with IT vendors as needed
- Work with each assigned senior team member to define support needs
IT Documentation
- Support Project Management related to implementation, detailed timelines, and assigned roles for new/replacement technology solutions & IT Ops projects as needed
- Create monthly release notes for the larger team and communicate in a clear way to team members
- Create and maintain technology documentation for IT staff and technology training guides for Family Reach staff
- Keep IT Budget up to date and order IT equipment as needed, including submitting monthly expense reports related to IT
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of project management or technology support experience
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritized while working under multiple deadlines
