Job Description: Benefit Administration Account Manager

The Benefit Administration Account Manager position is responsible for coordinating directly with customers and insurance broker partners to gather details of the client’s benefit offerings, eligibility rules and administration processes. They will configure the customized benefit administration and enrollment platform to these specifications. The Benefit Administration Account Manager is also expected to provide ongoing customer service support for change requests and process improvements.

Position Responsibilities and Duties for the Benefit Administration Account Manager

• Lead weekly client facing calls including creating the agendas, chairing calls, and providing summary recap of action items and discussion notes
• Configure eligibility rules in the PlanSource Benefit Enrollment portal user interface * Update system configuration changes with accuracy
• Maintain an active relationship with client contacts and service customer inquiries
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to rearrange/manipulate data to comply with internal software programs
• Interface with the internal departments to ensure customer requests are properly implemented
• Facilitate and conduct system training to brokers, enrollers, and client’s administrative staff
• Other responsibilities as required, including leading projects in other support channels as assigned
• Participates in the improvement and execution of standard project management processes and best practices

• Benefit Administration System configuration experience preferred
• Familiarity with PlanSource Benefit Administration and Enrollment platform is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook

Pay: $50,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
