Individuals with 2+ years prior Represented and/or Litigation adjusting experience could qualify for a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

A day in the life of a Esurance Litigation Casualty Adjuster:
Handles our largest and most complex bodily injury, uninsured, underinsured and homeowners liability claims, including complex coverage and liability issues. May include litigated and non-litigated claims.
Directly handles complex and litigated injury claims in accordance with Esurance’s Claims Best Practices, Litigation Management Protocols, and state laws and regulations.
Completes investigation as needed.
Applies expertise in the handling and resolution of 1st and 3rd party automobile injury and homeowners liability claims to include recognizing exposures, setting appropriate reserves, interpreting policies and analyzing coverage, determining liability, reviewing medical records, bills and other documentation, evaluation, and negotiation.
Utilizes appropriate tools to assist with claim evaluations.
Presents cases and makes recommendations for authority to management at roundtables.
Makes recommendations for the use of investigators or experts.
Manages litigated claims by developing litigation plans, strategies, and directing defense counsel throughout the litigation process in accordance with Esurance’s Litigation Management Protocols.
Documents files to include all key activities.
Makes appropriate material damage assignments and handles initial rental assignments including handling repair and/or rental questions from the customer.
Identifies and refers claims for subrogation.
Makes appropriate referrals to SIU.
Attends arbitrations and/or settlement conferences, as needed.

This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States.

You’re a great match for this role if you have:
High School Diploma/GED or higher (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
5+ years Represented/Litigation experience, required
Texas Property and Casualty License, strongly preferred
Homeowners Litigation experience, a plus
You have prior experience partnering with an attorney’s office on injury claims and or prior experience with the injury evaluation process
You have a strong background in negotiation and conflict management
Value providing an effortless customer service experience
Are organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Are known for clear and professional communication – both written and verbal
Being bilingual and/or having prior military experience is a plus
This position is not available for Alaska, and Hawaii residents

Compensation offered for this role is $67,300 – $108,100 and is based on experience and qualifications.
