Enjoy working independently? We are seeking a Field Service/Installation Computer Technician to join our team servicing our Iowa dental clients!

In this role, technicians can expect 70% field work and 30% help-desk work.

This is a highly mobile position that requires one to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently out of our Des Moines location. The general service area of travel for this position is all of Iowa, and will extend to Southern Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois, and South Dakota as needed.

Scope of work includes standard break/fix service calls on Windows platforms, hardware troubleshooting, dental specific hardware/software troubleshooting, on-site hardware installations, and help-desk phone support.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Availability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
• Detail-oriented and a self-starter
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows operating systems; server experience is a plus
• Prior technical experience on desktops, workstations, notebooks/laptops, printers, and scanners
• Provide quality support, responsiveness, and customer care in person and over the phone
• Ability to identify, analyze, and repair hardware, software, and network failures
• Installation of computer hardware, monitors, firewalls, mounts, and cabling
