Responsible for assisting the Manager of Compliance and Student Records with coordinating, organizing, and monitoring the day-to-day operations within the Admissions and Registration department regarding Graduations, Evaluations, and Transfer Equivalency.
Essential Functions
Coordinate, organize, plan and delegate to ensure that all job tasks relating to Records, Graduations, Evaluations, and Transfer Equivalency are completed in a timely manner. Monitor and maintain grade changes, National Student Clearinghouse, and state reporting. Evaluate credit requests. Review and evaluate graduation applicants and course substitution and waivers. Take the lead in organizing the graduation commencement ceremony and maintaining all processes for candidates and graduates.Monitor and maintain department emails and correspondence. Assign daily work to staff. Create and develop reports to ensure the accuracy of department processes. Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.Serve as a liaison to internal and external reporting agencies and departments in regard to Records, Graduations, and Evaluations, including but not limited to Financial Aid, Veterans Affairs office, Dean’s offices, School Districts, National Student Clearinghouse, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), third-party software, and other institutions.Stay abreast with new trends and innovations in transcript and course evaluation and degree/certificate assessments. Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect college operations. Assist with policy and procedural changes as needed. Serve as a lead resource and primary contact in providing information and interpretation of transfer and graduation policies and procedures.Provide directions to assigned staff, including the recommendation for employment, supervision, orientation, performance evaluation, and guidance and support concerning professional development.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
NOTE: A copy of the transcript reflecting this required education MUST be submitted for consideration and reflect completed coursework and degrees conferred. The candidate must be fully qualified for the position at the time of application.

Copies of transcripts must reflect completed coursework and conferred degrees. All academic coursework and degrees must be from an accredited college or university or be certified by an acceptable agency that the institution is recognized by the appropriate governmental agency in its home country (this is generally stated in the degree evaluation).
Transcripts issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a full translation (word for word) by a current member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Additionally, each foreign transcript must be evaluated for equivalency to United States accredited coursework.
Applications containing foreign transcripts that are not accompanied with the above required documentation will not be considered.
