POSITION SUMMERY

Job Title: International Business Applications Analyst, Supply Chain Technology

Location: Scottsdale, AZ. Scottsdale/Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa/Gilbert/Peoria candidates only. Commuting daily to East / Central Scottsdale

Reports To: Director, Business Applications

Purpose of the Job/Duties & Responsibilities

• As a member of the EFL Americas IT group, you will be involved with evaluating, implementing, configuring, and ongoing support for the applications and technology for one of the fastest growing global logistics firms. This role is critical to effectively identifying, diagnosing, and communicating the business requirements to the product owners and technical team(s).
• Work alongside operations management and team members to streamline operations by implementing relevant technology and systems that drive efficiencies across products and services.
• Applying strong logic-based thought process to ensure we have comprehensive application manuals and documentation to support training and development.
• Successfully execute Logistics application (WMS, TMS, YMS, etc) deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and system manuals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised from internal/external customers and vendors.
• Independently analyze application efficacy, utilization and identify enhancement needs and training opportunities.
• Effectively communicate complex technical detail in simplified, easy to understand terms to the business team(s)
• Identify, Participate and/or Lead Projects within the scope of the Americas IT group.
• Evaluate and test new applications and technology, document results and report to leadership team
• Contribute to goals and directives of the greater Americas IT group and help to deliver a product to the business team(s) that meets their functional needs.

Qualifications and Characteristics

• College degree or equivalent education & experience
• 3 years experience in an analytical and/or technical role,
• Must have International supply chain transportation, forwarding experience.
• 3 years experience working with international transportation management / forwarding systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple high priority assignments concurrently
• Highly proficient in other MS Office applications particularly in Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
• Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
• Position is office based and located in Scottsdale, AZ. No relocation offered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
