We are an Independent Insurance Agency that partners with several insurance companies. We are a small office located in New Palestine, Indiana. Dunaway Insurance has been in operation for over 40 years. We work in a casual office environment. We sell and service home, auto, farm, and small business insurance products to our customers.

Job Description:

Customer Service Representative provides sales, service and support to our customers and partners. We seek an enthusiastic individual with strong people skills who enjoys working with customers. Preferred candidate will explain insurance coverage and concepts while aiding our customers in better understanding their insurance purchases. If candidate lacks insurance knowledge, then they must demonstrate a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and coachable while maintaining an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude. We seek a customer focused self-starter that understands the impact of the company’s bottom line is affected by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Answers incoming customer calls.
• Process customer insurance policy changes.
• Process customer payments.
• Process certificates of insurance.
• Process and report customer claims to various insurance companies.
• Quote new and renewal personal lines coverage with multiple insurance companies.
• Update customer information in the agency database during and after each interaction.
• Immediately greet all customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Proficient in general office duties.

Job Qualifications: Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid computer, phone, grammar and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and decision -making skills.
• Indiana Property & Causalty Insurance License or ability to obtain.
• Friendly and helpful personality with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Most importantly GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!
