Preschool Lead Teacher

• Oversee the smooth running of your classroom.
• Maintain Emergency files for each child.
• Create weekly Lesson Plans for the class with individualized learning noted for each child.
• Perform weekly observations on each child using Teaching Strategies Gold and Brightwheels.
• Finalize quarterly assessments according to required schedule for each child using Teaching Strategies Gold and be available for Parent Conferences upon request.
• Be the parent’s main contact for information regarding their child.
• Ensure that classroom meets all requirements set forth by the state and accrediting agencies.
• Decorate class monthly according to season or theme.
• Maintain storage of children’s belongings and classroom necessities.
• Lead by example; follow all of Ducklings policies and expect the same from your Aides.
• Follow weekly lesson plans.
• Administer care to each child as per schedule as well as need using only items provided by their parents.
• Clean room in accordance with daily cleaning schedule and state regulations.
• Attend meetings and trainings. Always adhere to best practices with care of children and classroom.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
