BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY
The One-Call-Pipeline Operator will be involved with identification of underground utilities, witness digging and submitting daily reports. Responsible for data gathering, equipment calibration, equipment trouble shooting. Will be responsible for all aspects of pipeline maintenance and operations. Will assist the Produced Water team anytime support is needed and works under minimal supervision.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of related industry experience
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Always demonstrates and promotes safe and ethical behavior.
* Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected.
* Understands and applies all Devon Energy policies and ensure others comply with these policies.
* Calibrate One Call line identification equipment and maintain documentation certification.
* Install appropriate identification on company owned lines within specified timeframe through one call process.
* Locate all underground facilities for One Call notifications.
* Ensure oversight of digging and boring in and around lines (Line Crossing Inspections).
* Operate lines in compliance with all regulatory permits or DOT regulations.
* Provide information on emergency events to technical services foreman.
* Keep pipeline map data current with GIS.
* Must be able to read and understand maps.
* Maintain pipeline pigging schedule.
* Perform periodic visual inspections of lines, valves, markers and right of ways.
* Perform corrective tasks based on work order (including overseeing vendors performing work).
* Perform routine and regulatory activities based on maintenance plans.
* Provide any equipment changes to Master Data Maintainer.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Oil and gas industry experience preferred

* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to work within workflow prioritization management system
* Able to work within a team environment
* Secure and maintain all Devon issued equipment, including but not limited to computers, vehicles, and analysis or test equipment
* Must be flexible, willing to work weekends to cover PTO for other team members
* Will be on-call for One Call on weekends on a rotating schedule as needed
* Demonstrate basic mechanical knowledge and process flow of SWD facility
* Perform operational checks of assigned SWD facilities and wells
* Capable of safely climbing stairs, ladders, fixed to various equipment
* Travel and work extended hours on short notice
* Must be able to safely and effectively wear Self Contained Breathing equipment and work in an H2S environment if business needs warrant
* Live in or be willing to relocate to the local operating area as required by Devon Energy
