Job Summary:
Temporary, part-time instructor for Fall Semester 2023 teaching any of these disciplines HUM, HSV, ENG, LIT, SPC, PSY, SOC, MAT, ANT, POL, REL, ACC, BUS at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women and/or Newton Correctional Facility.
Essential Functions:
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment
Required Qualifications:
Transcripts and or work experience will be reviewed to determine credentialing for the discipline.
