DCI Job Requirement for:

IT Specialist / Systems Admin

Location: Hanover, MD

Job Description:

• Conduct daily operational and general administrative IT support
• Conduct system planning activities, installation, and troubleshooting
• Assist new users with Network Access Requests, Hardware Issuance and onboarding
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues
• Manage the patching, STIGing, and Configuration Management of a classified closed-restricted network
• Manage the configuration and operation of operating systems
• Monitor and respond to security or usability concerns
• Create and verify backups of data
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in:
• Windows & Red Hat Linux system administration
• VMWare/ ESXi Administration
• Network engineering
• Network operations
• Client support
• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting IT
• Operations of routers, switches, and video teleconference systems
• Security Industry Certification (DoD 8500 – IAT Level II)

REQUIRED: TS/SCI Security Clearance:

Salary: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year
