Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Chief Finance & Operations Officer (CFOO) of the Division of Arts & Sciences (A&S) and with a dotted line to the Executive Director, People Practice in Central Human Resources, the Director will help to craft the operational strategy for the delivery of excellent human resource-related services, manage the HR/payroll team for the division, provide management and oversight for a wide range of human resources efforts for all employees of the division, and serve as the primary point of contact for strategy implementation and organizational design. Broad areas of responsibility include staff employee relations and engagement, recruiting/hiring plans, onboarding and performance reviews, recognition programs, salary reviews and adjustments, oversee staff performing general HR processing, payroll, and working closely with departmental staff to facilitate actions in their areas.
