Summary
The Senior Director, Global Oncology Value, Access & Pricing (GOVAP) Liaison to ASCA & Japan is responsible to support developing and maximizing value & access strategies and capabilities for the DS oncology portfolio in ASCA and Japan.
Responsibilities
– Support the development and execution of value access strategies in ASCA Japan to maximize access outcomes for the DS Oncology portfolio.
– Partners with the ASCA* Japan regional and country value, access pricing teams to support the development of customized value access strategies to optimize access outcomes of the DS Oncology portfolio (*ASCA countries: Brazil, China, Taiwan, Hong-Kong, South-Korea, Australia, Singapore)
– Facilitates effective and timely interface and exchange with the global PRA and HEOR/RWE asset leads to promote and achieve cocreation of regional/country value access strategies.
– Liaises with the GOVAP HEOR and RWE teams to support development of customized evidence generation strategies.
– Collaborates with the Global Analytics, Operational Payor Excellence team to facilitate governance for the price approvals business cases and support developing proper negotiation tactics.
– Supports HTA and payors interactions as needed.
– Support the build-out and development of Access Capabilities in ASCA region/markets.
– Support development of capabilities in the broad area of value, access and pricing, including PRA (pricing, reimbursement Access), HEOR (Health Economic Outcomes Research), RWE (Real World Evidence) and Evidence Generation, and PRO (patient reported outcomes).
– Ensure sharing of best practices and learnings within and across regions and global teams.
– Partners with the GOVAP Lead Operational Excellence capabilities to facilitate roll-out and implementation of the various GOVAP educational initiatives (e.g. Global Access Academy).
– Act as chief culture officer and coach for the access community.
– Liaise with the global/regional/country access teams to raise awareness on cultural differences and foster proper communication and ways of working.
– Foster close collaboration between GOVAP and ASCA/Japan value access teams.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
– Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in economics, health policy, health economics, pharmaceutical sciences, medicines or other relevant qualification required
– Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in economics, health policy, health economics, pharmaceutical sciences, medicines or other relevant qualification preferred
Experience Qualifications
– 10 or More Years relevant experience acquired at pharmaceutical companies (or similar such as consultancy etc.) required
– Knowledge of and experience with key HTA and payor systems globally as well as in-depth knowledge and experience with key markets in ASCA region (China, Taiwan, Korea, Brazil) and Japan
– Experience with multi-indication assets preferred
– Excellent intercultural skills
– Highly self-motivating personality with positive can-do attitude with ability to model and live our core values and behaviors.
– Pro-active & team player with proven ability to work and influence in a matrix organization
– Excellent analytical and communication skills
– Fluency in written and spoken English
Travel
Ability to travel up to 30%
