Summary
The Medical Insights & Operations Manager is responsible for the analysis of medical data, generating insights, and reporting across Medical Affairs. This includes leading the analysis of medical data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to Medical Affairs operational objectives, as well as utilizing statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear and actionable manner. As part of the Innovation & Excellence Team, this role works closely with the Medical Intelligence Associate Director, to partner with all Medical Affairs functions and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, innovation and continuous improvement of Medical Affairs impact.
Responsibilities
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including other Medical Affairs teams as well as Global Medical and Commercial to generate actionable insights from medical data.
– Monitor, collect and report relevant Medical KPIs to track congress, data release and launch performance
– Provide Field Medical Affairs and Medical Research Strategy with ad hoc analysis that may be needed to support decision analytics
– Foster innovative solutions and continuous improvement in Medical Affairs systems and processes
– Promote medical insight and reporting best practice sharing across Medical Research Strategy’s various asset teams, Field Medical Affair tumor teams and other cross-functional colleagues
Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
– Bachelor’s Degree required and
– PharmD, PhD, or MD in health science related field preferred
– MBA preferred
Experience Qualifications
– 4 or More Years overall related experience or commensurate education/experience required
– 1 or More Years Medical Affairs experience in Oncology preferred
– 1 or More Years Clinical or pharmaceutical environment preferred
Travel
Ability to travel up to 20%
