Cornerstone Research Group, Inc. (CRG), near Dayton, Ohio, is an Aerospace and Defense company that develops and delivers innovative, customer-focused technology solutions.
When you join our dynamic and rapidly-growing organization, you will collaborate closely with our multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists to rapidly develop and demonstrate new systems, including novel Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and enabling technologies.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to design-build-fly prototypes, design pre-production aircraft, develop and integrate quiet electric propulsion, and perform clean sheet design. The team has participated in the development of multiple UAVs from Group 1 to 4, and has experience in designing, building, and testing many aerospace vehicles and enabling technologies.

Requirements
Exclusive US citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
BS or MS in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required
Minimum 5 years industry experience with aircraft configuration design, aerodynamics, performance analysis, structures layout, and systems layout. Prefer 10+ years experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualified Candidates will be able to:
Lead aircraft configuration development from concept through detailed design
Support definition and analysis of vehicle requirements
Perform aircraft conceptual design and sizing for derivative and clean sheet aircraft
In support of vehicle configuration, perform aerodynamic design, preliminary structural design layouts, systems sizing, and systems arrangements in a team environment
Perform aircraft performance analysis
Perform trade studies on systems and components of advanced concepts and aerospace platforms
Lead and coordinate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Present detailed data and design recommendations based on findings and prepare reports, presentations, drawings, and other engineering data
Perform in the dynamic environment of a growing small business
