Grant and Contract Coordinator – Baker Institute for Animal Health, CVM (Hybrid)
The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a mission-driven Grant and Contract Coordinator for the Baker Institute for Animal Health to assist faculty, clinical/senior academic staff, and academic staff. The mission of the Baker Institute for Animal Health is dedicated to carrying out scientific discoveries related to animal health, particularly with respect to companion animals, and to finding ways to apply these discoveries to benefit the health of animals. The Institute compounds these contributions into the future by training the next generation of scientists and veterinarian scientists.
The primary focus of this role is to provide management of grant proposal submissions both internal and external to the Principal Investigator (PI)’s. In this role, you will be the department expert for all grant and pre-award processes along with providing post-award assistance.

Please note that this is a hybrid position with core work hours of Monday through Friday, 3 days on campus at the Baker Institute and 2 days remote. Your start and end times for each day, and days you will be remote and on campus, will be mutually determined between you and your supervisor with a goal of determining a consistent schedule. Employees may be required to work outside of normal business hours, including occasional holidays, evenings, and weekends. More on site presence may be required during the initial training period.
