Cornell University is looking for a Gifts Revenue Coordinator to join the Advancement Services team in Alumni Affairs and Development.
Reporting to the Manager of Customer Service and Partner Support, the Gifts Revenue Coordinator will track, reconcile and coordinate the intake of all charitable gifts received within Advancement Services and AA&D.
AA&D receives a high volume of gifts in various forms including cash, checks, credit cards, wire transfers and stock gifts. This role will serve as the central point person for all University gift funds, maintaining and upholding internal control best practices, CASE guidelines, IRS guidelines, and PCI compliance standards.
This position is on-site 5 days per week with the potential for a 4:1 in office to home hybrid work schedule once trained.

Required Qualifications
Associates Degree and 2 – 4 years of experience or equivalent combination
Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy within a high volume, mission critical environment
Strong technology acumen, including advanced Excel skills
Customer service oriented
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proactive approach and demonstrated ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent responsibilities
Strong professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in accounting/banking, accounts receivable and/or financial reporting
Experience in higher education and/or Advancement Service industry
CASE standards, IRS guideline experience
Experience with relational databases
Working Environment
* Typically lifts less than 10 lbs

* Limited exposure to hazards
