Control Technician Trainee

Hours: Monday to Friday, 1st shift hours.

Position Responsibilities

• Complete hands-on training to design and develop aspects of electrical control systems, equipment and machinery.

• Plan and conduct tests of electrical control systems, equipment and machinery.

• Perform technical maintenance and service on equipment, automated systems and facilities.

• Install and provide technical support of PLC-based hardware and software.

• Install and calibrate instruments, equipment and control devices.

• Coordinate equipment purchase and service with vendors to resolve all issues throughout the life of the equipment.

• Assist in root cause analysis in downtime and work with corporate engineering and vendors on solutions.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Available for travel to Uline’s domestic and international branches.
