SUMMARY

Contract/Regulatory Liaison will play a critical role for Red Rock overseeing service contracts throughout their lifecycle as well as oversight of regulatory auditing. Serving as the liaison between program directors and the state entities (with executive oversite) for negotiations and recommendations. They will manage and help reduce compliance risks within Red Rock and ensure accountability to funding entities. They will manage contract changes and addendums related to direct service in an organized system so contract management is a smooth, streamlined process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Auditing/Compliance with state, federal and other regulatory requirements such as ODMHSAS, OHCA and CARF.
  • Completing applications for certification/accreditation which requires gathering requested information and submitting within set time period
  • Acts as primary point of contact with state and federal government agencies charged with compliance reviews and audits
  • Responding timely to questions/requests from regulatory bodies for additional information
  • Notifying HR, Medical Records, and appropriate sites of upcoming requirements for certification/accreditations and preparation for audits
  • Obtaining confidential personnel record information to report to regulatory bodies
  • Requesting information from clinical records, formatting such, and sending to regulatory bodies
  • Maintaining availability to respond to questions and requests for additional information
  • Participating in Exit Interview with regulatory bodies
  • Ensuring completion and timelines for Plan of Corrections (POC) which requires working with CQI and sites to develop and implement the POC
  • Receiving certificates, sharing with appropriate sites, and ensuring documentation retention of certificates and POC’s.
• Direct Service Contract oversight and monitoring
  • This role, along with other members of the Contracts Committee, will assure that Red Rock is utilizing all contracts in a fiscally responsible and comprehensive manner
• Assist in administration, implementation, and quality control of contracts, as well as various administrative duties
• Track and maintain detailed summaries of local and federal legislation affecting the organization
• Maintain contract database and manages annual renewals including general contracts, BAAs, MOUs, care coordination agreements, and other documents as directed by the General Counsel
• Track data and generate reports for grants with partner organizations
• Serve as a member of the Policy and Procedure Committee and ensure any updates are incorporated as need
• Monitor CMS, ODMHSAS, OHCA, and CARF updates and assist in timely implementation of applicable rules/standards/updates
• Serves as point of contact for and person responsible to complete the National Mental Health Services Survey (N-MHSS) and National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS) web survey.
• Assist with data collection and reporting when requested
• Maintain and Update Red Rock history as needed
• Ability to work collaboratively with all departments/programs including Management Team
• Participates in ongoing in-service education programs and staff development programs
• Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn Agency policy, rules, regulations, and procedures
• Assist with special projects as request by the CEO or General Counsel
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
• Legal experience a plus
• 3 years’ business operations experience and knowledge of the Mental Health field preferred
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
